Who We Are
RZ Builders was established in 2023 by Zayne Puata, building on more than 11 years of experience across the construction industry. Prior to launching the business, Zayne developed his trade through subcontracting, sole trading, and working within several established building companies. This experience provided a strong technical foundation and a clear understanding of how construction businesses operate.
Through these experiences, Zayne developed a clear vision for the type of company he wanted to build. Establishing RZ Builders was driven by the desire to operate independently while creating a positive workplace environment for both himself and the people he works alongside. Having seen that culture and leadership in construction can sometimes fall short, Zayne set out to build a company that prioritises respect, connection, and pride in workmanship.

Commercial Construction
We are experienced in delivering commercial building work including office fitouts and building façade installations. These projects demonstrate our ability to work within commercial specifications and deliver professional results on highly visible projects.
Project Management
In addition to construction delivery, we provide project management services that include coordinating sub-trades, managing materials and suppliers, scheduling work programmes, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.
Landscaping Construction

Residential Construction
We deliver new residential builds for both private homeowners and developers. Projects range from individual homes to multi-dwelling developments, with the team managing construction from foundation through to completion while maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance.
Renovations and Extensions
We regularly undertake renovation projects including full-home renovations, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, and structural extensions.
Cladding Installation and Maintenance
We provide both new cladding installation and remedial cladding work. These services help protect homes from weather exposure while improving the overall durability and appearance of residential properties.

I cannot speak highly enough of Zayne Puata. Zayne was the 'builder' in a team painting my 100-year-old bungalow. Over 50% of the weatherboards needed to be replaced, owing to borer, and several of the windowsills required major repairs. The quality of Zayne's work is outstanding, and he is a delight to work with.
Zayne's role wasn't that of project manager, but he didn't hesitate to step up to bridge several gaps which appeared in the management of the project. In addition, he turned his hand to other issues e.g. adjusting a gate across the driveway. Numerous attempts had been made to rectify problems with the gate and following Zayne's intervention it glides and closes as never before. It would be a missed opportunity to not consider Zayne Puata for any proposed building work - major (e.g. building a house) or comparatively minor as the work above.
